Taxes

Americans are taxed too much already. I will not support ANY new taxes! Congress must bring taxes under control. The leadership that has gotten us into this mess will not be the leadership that will solve these problems. These high tax rates are destroying main street as well as our agriculture and our job markets. As a small farmer and business man I understand the impact of taxes on running a family budget and a business.

We currently have a former lobbyist representing us in the 8th district. It’s time we had someone who has lived in the district for years and has run a private business in the 8th district for over 34 years. Giving 700 billion dollars to bankers and insurance companies is not my idea of fiscal responsibility and will force higher taxes to pay for it in the future.

I will do everything in my power to end the "death tax" on small farms and businesses.

I will do everything in my power to cut taxes and cut spending by this out of control government.

I repeat, if taxing and spending is the problem, how can it also be the answer?
